Kosovo authorities burned 13 million cigarettes

In Kosovo today, 13 million have been burned with cigarettes through shares to combat contraband products. The total value of burnt cigarette reaches € 1 million. As reported by the representatives of UN forces in Kosovo, cigarettes were found and confiscated in illegal attempts to enter the province, as well as in Kosovo during 2003. All recovered thus cigarettes were delivered to the factory in g.Obilich, 8 kilometres north-west of Pristina, and burned in coal stoves enterprise. Most destroyed contraband cigarettes accounted Greek Karelia Slims and Croat Ronhill, but were among them, and the world famous brands such as Marlboro and Lucky Strike.
